That's the first time I've seen the Colts play conservatively in the 4th quarter.

This one is a stinger.

If you play NOT to lose, you'll lose. I hate conservative football.
Yep. The Horse Collar was BS, but we had the game in our hands and threw it away. And the Texans have had two easy gifts the first two weeks. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

The Texans have a super easy schedule until they play the Colts on the 9th. If their offense continues to play decent enough they could be 5-0 going into that game.

Ya know, kinda joking a bit, but the NFL could really use Tim Tebow right now as a spokesman. With all the **** that has happened this year (Hardy, Rice, Peterson). There's really no...good boy/good man spokesman. Hell, even Kurt Warner.

:o Brees and Manning don't count.

Tebow is on GMA right now.

Imagine the uproar if a player like Tebow was hit with allegations such as the ones of Peterson and Rice.

No, the NFL doesn't need Tebow for anything. There are plenty of other athletes who can ACTUALLY PLAY AT THE NFL LEVEL AND ARE DOING SO who aren't murderers, rapists or abusers. Any of those guys could serve as a spokesperson for the league.

Refs helped out the Eagles a lot last night (the non PI call on the INT, the "horse collar tackle" on McCoy, etc.) but the Colts went into a shell most of the second half and really only have themselves to blame.

won $100 thanks to the colts playing conservatively

I do hate Da Bears, but have always respected the hell out of Tillman. Class act on and off the field. Said to see him back on IR with the same injury. Hope it's not a career ender.

I'm interested in seeing how officiating goes for the rest of the season.

I can't remember the last time I saw so many flags, and it's not even Week 3 yet.

So Reggie Bush hits his one year old daughter? I am sure she is learning a lot from it. One good thing about this situation. The horrible human beings in the NFL are revealing themselves.

I hope Tillman isn't out. He is class personified.

I really felt for the guy when they showed him on the sideline and he had a tear rolling down his face. Hate to see stuff like this happen, especially to a guy like Tillman.

It would be nice if the NFL apologized for the phantom holding on Anquan Boldin that cost the Niners a TD, but that's probably too much to ask. At least the team is demanding an explanation on the weird "inappropriate language" penalty:

But the player Kaepernick appeared to be jawing with, Bears defensive end Lamarr Houston, said he didn’t hear Kaepernick say anything inappropriate. Hayes was apparently the only one who heard anything. Unfortunately for the 49ers, Hayes was the one with the flag in his pocket.

Wow. That actually is some BS if true. And by the way, what kind of justification is there for "inappropriate language" anyway? These are grown ass, testosterone-fueled men. If I was playing out there, I can say whatever the f*** I want aside from a racist remark.
