2017 Hype! Deathmatch: The Sign-Ups

To be fair, Emilia Clarke still acts terribly under that wig. That seems like the bigger problem.

In a show with mass nudity, mass murders, zombies, dragons, and people wearing other people's faces.....they worry about her acting ability?

What got you started on your current sctickt of calling everyone bald?

You know that whole "Is Henry Cavill balding or not" debate first flourished many years ago on hype during the release of Man of Steel and still going strong post BvS into Justice League.

My moneys on that being the origin.

:funny:

I honestly can't tell, because he seems to use it interchangeably between a term of endearment and an insult. So I am really curious.

I first used ''The Bald Man'' reference to Cavill Superman...After some Superman fan kept going on and on nitpicking about what Superman's hairline should be. I also noticed that it annoyed folks with "allegedly'' complete hair. And recently some random dude called bald ppl a handicap. lol

So my use of ''bald'' is not meant as a jab or anything like that, but more of a replacement for ''dude'', ''man'' etc. I do find it funny when folks point out they aint bald or when they admit to being bald tho. This has happen via pm too. ''Dude, how did you know I was bald?'' stuff like that.

Her acting chops are the last thing on my mind when watching it.
Well, I'm a fan of the character in the books, but her portrayal kinda makes me hate the character on the show a lot of the time, so I can't NOT see it.

I don't like Dany in the books or on the show past season 2/book 2, so it is all the same for me.

OK....wasn't sure if it was an insult or whatnot....like Dr. Sevrin calling people "Herbert".

Haven't read the books.....so all I see is a cute girl who occasionally gets naked and flies a dragon.

Aw, people act like you're old, but you're really just a sweet summer child.

Uh, I'm not into the space thing genre, so i dont get your reference. I searched for mistah Sevrin and he is some bald Trek guy. lol

I did like the movie Lifeforce tho. :sly:

I'm kinda like Billy Pilgrim.....sometimes I'm an old fart....sometimes I'm a kid in search of my own Montana Wildhack .

Yeah....it was a Trek reference.

LIFEFORCE is one helluva movie.

I shave my head bald purposely... i actually have nice hair... but lets be real... bald people have the upperhand... have you ever showered with a bald head flickchick? its incredible. you're in an out in roughly 60 seconds.... you never get a sweaty pillow... and something about the bald man makes others not bother you and treat you with respect.

if donald trump took his wig off, he might be a hero.

Other ways to avoid a sweaty pillow - don't live in Georgia. The shower thing doesn't sound like a plus. I like long showers.

That's because you are a bad person who waste water.

Talk bad about my state again... I'll shave your head myself.

Does that mean you're joining?

once she stopped doing all the nudity, people complained more
and didn't she say something about all the constant bleaching of her hair making her sick or something?
i remember the lady from farscape quitting because of all the problems from her makeup and shaving her hair constantly and how it affected her outside the show as well
