With as many clips as they showing they couldve cut them in half and given us more/longer cast interviews. And I am surprised that FOX hasnt tried to make a new X-files show.

And if they had given this enough time to get together, they should have animated certain people in this animated thing.

Where's the option for Werewolf on the poll? I'm still heartbroke that the dvd set was cancelled at the last minute.

BOOKER! Don't forget Booker! It was a 21 Jumpstreet spinoff for you new kids!

It's funny that Shannen was fired from 90210 but has since done just about more talk/looking back on the show than other cast members. And I was really hoping they wouldve had all of them together instead of in seperate interviews.

This special was horrible. As I said earlier, NBC did a much better job a few years ago with their anniversary special.

watching Married With Children right now and The Simpsons after. great to watch these early episodes.

i'm really only looking forward to the special because of Married With Children reunion

If only it wasnt like 2 mins long. I was expecting them, 90210, X-files sit downs to be longer than the were. Family guy took up more time than they did. But it was funny when they were going through their sci-fi shows that basically all of the ones they showed didnt go past 2 seasons even though they were great. Was hoping for a quick Jessica Alba sitdown when I saw the DA clip.

So glad they showed the Simpsons christmas special instead of the 500th.

I wasn't surprised to see only Keenan, Shawn and Marlon when they talked about In Living Color. And Tommy Davidson.

The full cast reunited at the 2012 TV Land Awards

For a 2hr special they shouldve focused more on the hits that made the network what it is today while showing past clips of other shows that they did instead of using mainly clips to make up the 2hrs.

Watching that special was sort of like reliving my television watching childhood. If they have some sort of TGIF special in the works it's over.

They didn't have much arrested development mention i wonder if that's due to the show being reborn on netflix? They should have also brought back some of the mad tv veterans. In living color was only on for like a third of the time mad tv was on the air.

Fox should definitely do an hour long episode/tv movie type of deal for Married With Children

give it the closure it fully deserves. i'm sure the entire cast would be down for it.

In Living Color was more groundbreaking than Mad TV.

No Arrested Development likely means that it's coming back on Netflix.

^^^

More groundbreaking yes but mad tv was pretty much fox's snl for 10+ years. I felt the show never really got it's due. For a while in the 90's and into the 2000's a lot of its sketches were on par or better than what was on snl at the same time. The last few years were crap yes but that's likely due to fox letting it get that way by not finding the right talent.

They should have had an interview at least with alex borstein, will sasso etc.

I think Mad TV got the shaft because it wasn't primetime. Most of their focus was primetime. They didn't even mention FOX Kids even though it was their bread & butter for like 5 years. The Simpsons were a cultural landmark, but a network can't survive on just one show. FOX Kids kept the lights on till they got the NFL.

This is why I prefer the NBC special. They honored the network's entire history, including when it was just a radio station. They even had a seperate special for their Late Night history that was hosted by Conan O'Brien.

Ya it aired at 7. But so far this has been a let down.

I agree. It reminded me of those "masked magician" specials with Mitch Pileggi.

Basically a cheap special with the host standing outside a hanger and all the action filmed inside the hanger.

TV Line:
A meager 4.3 million revelers turned out for Fox’s two-hour 25th Anniversary bash Sunday night, giving the network a rare last place finish among viewers. In the demo, the special averaged a 1.8 rating.

Encores of the Married With Children and Simpsons pilots that preceded the soiree drew roughly 3 mil and a 1.3 and 1.5 respectively.
Oh, Fox.... :o

watching that special last night made me miss some of the specials Fox used to air back in the 90s/early 00s. Magic's Secrets Revealed, When Animals Attack, Fact or Fiction, etc.

a hell of a lot better than the crap they have now

They should have had a collage of images from the various shows they cancelled.
