SKU is the console.

Its only rumors at the moment.

Expect new fans (reduce noise and improve coolong slightly) and a new DVD drive and dvd mount (reduce vibration noise).

The other BIG one is DVD to be replaced with HD-DVD... but thats a long shot.

sounds cool - Im still not decided on which to get Wii or 360 -(always had Nin) Just I go online n hear so many brakedown stories...I hope it actually dies come out soon. HD-DVD would be sweet too - you ever had any probs with your box?

I had to send it back because it froze up a couple times (nothing bad.. but just to get a more reliable one). Since I got this one (about 10 months) it's froze up once with saint's row. I believe the new 360 has a smaller CPU too?

Dunno - but thats what i mean - i want a console that doesnt **** upand that'll work indefinatly...like all my older consoles...

I was under the impression they were going to drop the current core entirely, drop the current premium down to $300 and make it the new "core", and then do a black $600 "premium" with built in HD-DVD.

It means stocking unit. The core 360 has one SKU number and the premium has another.
