A culture that revels in tormenting others and came up with a form of attempted murder (swatting) was bound to have an incident like this eventually. These various toxic cultures probably have claimed plenty in suicide. It was kind of inevitable that it would turn to something like this.

It wasn't the most articulate description but I think it's valid. Just look at the sitting president and how he acts.

It's infuriating how actually doing anything to try and prevent these shootings isn't something that even occurs to them.

I don't know, seems to have worked for Australia and the UK. And I would not underestimate the number of the next generation who would want a total ban on guns.

Some people you can't reason with. If it was a cop that had killed an unarmed Black person, they they would ignore the gun and be going after the cop, like they should.

Second amendment is part of our constitution. Either deal with it, or move to the UK or Australia. My family moved here back in the 1940's from Germany, and the main reason was our right to defend ourselves.

They're heavily restricted but handguns are not banned in Australia.

Whatever one thinks about banning or not banning guns -- the background check systems seems to be broke in every state. There seems to be not one of these guys who didn't have mental health issues noted before they did their crime.
