50 Cent is one of the worst things to ever happen to pop culture. His music is the most, bland, generic, uninspired and often offensive form of music I've ever heard, not to mention it promotes an unfairly stereotypical portrayal of African Americans. He has no talent whatsoever, in any field. He should just go away. I don't wish death on him, but I do hope he someday realizes he's talentless and packs it in.

Oh, and De Niro has hit a new low.

And another thing how does his music stereotype all blacks. Just because a black guy raps about drugs does that mean all of us feel the same way. The stereotyping of blacks by way of music and movies is done by whites.

Oaky, let me ask you something: if 50 Cent (or Fiddy Cent, as so many call him) truly learned his lesson, then why the **** does he keep promoting that lifestyle through his music? In a warped, twisted way, crime has somewhat payed for him, as his involvement in crime has made him a megamillionaire.

The Departed, on the other hand, shows that crime doesn't pay. The bad guys as well as the protagonist get it in the end.

Shut up stewie. You guys sit here and praise films like The Godfather and Natural born killers(which is believed to have been the cause of 16 murders in the US) but when a rapper tells his life story about things he's actually been through, he's labeled as a thug and a bad influence.

Do you know what 50 Cent did with the money he earned for his first record deal? He went and bought DRUGS to sell. He himself doesn't do drugs, but he has no problem selling it to others. I guess the fact that his mother was KILLED as a result of drugs couldn't get in the way of his desire to "get rich or die trying" no matter how many lives he destroys. Sorry, but its a fact. He's a criminal scum pure and simple.

50 oughta take Ludacris's approach and seek out starring in great and acclaimed films. I give props for Ludacris for being one of my favorite rappers and having respectable roles in good movies instead of cliched roles in terrible movies.

As 50 Cent's movie career continues to bud, he's keeping two separate lists: one noting the stars he wants to work with someday, and another noting the actors he hopes to team with again. Now he's making plans to cross one name off each list with "New Orleans," a cop thriller that would pit him opposite Robert De Niro and Brian Presley, the latter of whom he previously co-starred with in "Home of the Brave." According to Fiddy, Presley is currently in negotiations for the flick, to which 50 and De Niro had previously been attached. "If Brian's schedule permits him to be a part of this next project ... we'd be police officers." To be directed by TV veteran Tim Hunter, the flick would also cast De Niro as a cop obsessed with the death of his former partner and dragging his new one (50) into the mystery. "The plot is about corruption in the police department. It's really interesting," the rapper/actor added. When asked for the name of his favorite De Niro performance, 50 responded with a wry smile: "All of his movies are my favorites." "New Orleans" is due to film next year, targeting a 2008 release
