Fett does suck.
Actually it's not. It perpetuates the stereotype that Boba Fett is cool, when we all know that's not true.
Fett does suck.
That's all he does, is look badass. He stood in the background, then Vader gave him Solo, then he hung around Jabba's palace for months because he's apparently a free-loader and then he flies around a bit and goes Sarlacc diving.
You've apparently never played Jedi Academy or read any of the books![]()
Theres more. A lot more. Not in the movies.
I saw the Star Wars movies, and I have no idea why people think Boba Fett is cool. It's like saying Ghost was one of the best characters from The Matrix. Oh, he might've done something cool in a spin-off on another medium, but he did jack-diddly in the actual movies.

I take that the same way I take the evolution of Batman and Wolverine. The fans latch onto small aspects of it that work in small doses (Boba Fett, Batman's brooding, Wolverine's bestial rage) and since it's popular that aspect gets overblown and winds up making the whole thing suck.
I'm talking about the movies. Star Wars is a film series, so everything else is pretty much authorized fan fiction as far as I'm concerned, and fan obsession with Fett got nearly an entire prequel dedicated to tying him into the greater story.
The idea that stormtroopers were clones came from the novels (among a plethora of other things), so I don't think it's fair to call them "fan fiction" - especially considering that it's actually well-written (as opposed to much of the dialogue in the movies - particularly the prequels).
Its the Jetpack peeps love a JetpackActually it's not. It perpetuates the stereotype that Boba Fett is cool, when we all know that's not true.
