8pm till 6 am my day on the set..

Hey guys sorry for making a new thread but i didnt want it to get lost in the shuffle as i put a lot of effort in.. u mite think i was crazy but i was actually there from 8 pm till 6 am.. and i made a couple friends with the security guys. i might even have a job as one later in the week lol.. i took over 150 pics, and i think 30 vids, my comp is broken but i have uploaded a cppl of them on a friends comp till i can fix mine.. i dont follow hulk hype so much so forgive me if this is all known but the crew guys told me a lot of things.. here is wat i learned..


1. marvel signed for hulk 2, and 3, here in t.o
2.the hulk is in the arctic and brazil at somepoint.
3. they filmed the bus explosion in a warehouse in hamilton,
4. they actually drove the bus like that to the set lol..
5.abomb has about a 5 foot walk radius..
6. dont know if this is true, b ut on wednesday or the last day of filming. they will be dropping the apollo sign in the middle of yonge street.
7. hulk throws cg forklifts in brazil..
8.the hummer crash filmed on sun was actually an accident, the wheel base came loose or something and they decided to keep it.
9.this is second unit splinter.
10. the budget is suposed to go up to 200 mil by end of shoot.
11.they are 10 days behind shedule.
12.ed and liv's trailer is a s big as a house with sat tv and everything..
13.one of the guys said he saw the final hulk and said hes more grey then green but still green.. dont know if its true tho..
14.filming is in collingwood next..
15. a guy was filming all kinds of stuff for the dvd including the bus explosion in hamilton..
16. the catering is crazy.. lobster and gormet food...

Thats all i got so far.. but im going down today and gonna have even more pics to upload so watch out for them.. the ones from mon are old now but i was there till 6 am so im sure i got stuff other ppl dont.
for example pics of them using a weird looking camera to film both a nypd cop car and cab at different angles for cg placement and others..
by the way the crew guys are really nice guys once u get to know them.. one of them i thought was a dick cuz he kept blockin my shots with an umbrella but around 1 or 2 am they put there guard down cuz there wasnt so many ppl there and they are really nice guys. lots of stories to tell..
hope i dont have to be the umbrella guy.. dont wanna be the ******* lol..

200million is great, should please people. Hulk 2 & 3 sounds great.

Hulk in the arctic? That's new, we knew they would be filming in Brazil. Banner on the run around the world sounds awesome!

10 days behind schedule doesn't sound great but I am sure it will work out at the end.

Looks like Norton and Tyler are being treated like gods! No news about Tim Roth and William Hurt.

Please dont take offense to this BlueDragon but some of that i dont believe, not saying you are lying but maybe the crew did.

I just cant see Marvel spending 200 million on this. That would mean the movie has to do HUGE numbers to make a profit and i just dont see it happening.

200 Million Canadian dollars? The limit per the Merrill financing deal is 180 million so either they're wrong, Merill approved more, it's Canadian dollars, or Marvel came up with some extra cash to make this thing even bigger than we thought.

As far as the Arctic part I knew that and was waiting for it to be revealed so I know that's true. Just picture that image of The Hulk in the Ice and Snow. I made quite a few suggestions on some other opportunities in that environment one that is HUGE in particular if you really think about it hard it's obvious what the Ice could reveal.

Whoever told you that stuff though is an ass because they shouldn't be revealing some of that stuff. It's not their job to spill information that they were entrusted with. It's cool to hear confirmations but I hate it when people take things into their own hands. It's one thing for a bystander to take photo's of the set...it's another when someone involved in the production or hired by the production leaks info.

One thing you have to remember. This isn't Universel's baby any more even though they are distrubiting it. It doesn't have to make the #'s you think for Marvel to make Hulking profits. Marvel doesn't have to split the DVD revenue and it gets the bulk of the theatrical revenue. Marvel doesnt' have to pay itself for the rights which can cost anywhere from a low of 5% before benchmarks up to 50% for the equity deals in place for films like The Punisher. Because Marvel gets the rights back the new MOVIE is going to be it's own advertisement for merchandise which is where the real money is made. Hulk is a merchandising machine. So hell even if The Incredible Hulk broke even or had a loss at the box office...Marvel would still make hundreds of millions in profits off of it. That's the beauty of it. That's why it's so cool Marvel got the rights back because if Universal was still the studio making it and it just broken even...the franchise would be dead.

However IMO this film will make 175-200 million domestic and 200+ overseas. The merchandise, tv rights, dvd sales profits...all go to Marvel.

This is why we want all Marvel movie rights...back at Marvel if possible. We know Sony will NEVER let go of Spidey and Fox will never let go of X-Men or Fantstic Four. The rest will revert to Marvel in the end.

well everything they were sayin isnt that big.and they seemed very excited and it was late so they prob let it slip. plus i must have talked to10 diff ppl,so maybe each person told me one or 2 things.they told me some cool stories bout other celebs like russel crow takin crew out for drinks spendin cppl grand,sly stalone gettin girl fired forbringin purpleinstead of greengrapes.iwas there for like 10hours so i talked a lot with them.they were all really great guys whered u hear bout the arctic?and id assume canaidian cuz the crew r all from here mostly.

by the way i wanted to flesh out what i been saying, mostly to AD.. when you were talking about them spilling the beans.. i was there from about 8 till 6 am, and i was talking to a lot of ppl making the rounds, and i got to know some of them they are really great guys and the ones that told me this stuff just sounded so excited about the movie that they may have let it slip, it was probably like 3 am or something.. but none of the stuff is major, and it was all in just chatting for a while but i just picked up on it.. they didnt make it a point or anything just casually talked about things and it came thru..
so whats this about the arctic? whered you hear about it? i think thats pretty cool..
about him being grey, what i think he ment was it being more of a muted green..
lets see what else.. about the 200 mil. when they were chatting i happened to be sitting next to them and overheard them complaining about various things like not being paid, and being 10 days behind, and they said at the rate its going they will reach 200 mil. and they were saying that it was disorganized, but again it was like 3 or 4 am probably and some were getting cranky so it was probably just venting i dunno plus this is all refering to second unit.. i have no idea about the main shooting, this is basically the special fx unit i belive..

thats all i can think of now. i hope i didnt get any body in trouble for saying that cuz they are great ppl and i hope i see them again cuz even when we wernt chatting about the hulk they had so many interesting stories.. i belive they are all from t.o as well.

It's all cool with us here of course. I just don't like the people that agree to one thing and do another and going over studio's head. The budget shouldn't break 180 million. Regarding the Arctic...trust me I know and I never would have said a word unless you brought it up.

AD give me a heads up on pm or something if u know any details on filming today cuz i wanna go down there but not if its just the same burning bus with ppl running.. thanx a lot

Let's just say I find people, know some people personally, and know some people casually on the net. I haven't read the script but heard details of it when Ed Norton's name wasn't pasted onto it and what I heard was awesome then...and from what I can tell the core elements of that are still intact. I think tonight is the last night of shooting look in the pics thread where I posted a blog.
