Incredible Set Reports and Filming Updates!

wow, thanks for the pics. Looking at them, you really start to appreciate just how much work goes into making a movie. I can't imagine that turning a town into New York is an easy task.

Yeah, the day i saw it before i took the pics seemed alot more busy had caution tapes around the area and such. The Apollo sign hanging off the wall is a piece added to the building, that building's wall is just a wall with windows without it.

i have taken over 130 pics from the set of the incredible hulk at both the university of toronto and on yonge street from college to dundas. here's some sample pics below. you can check out the rest of the pics at my flickr site: http://www.flickr.com/photos/donalwool/sets/72157601841868124/

Hey all, another (potential) set report. Downtown Hamilton, from the looks of it, has been set up for some major filming. On Main East, near Jackson Square, there are several large sets constructed on either side of the road that have been dressed to look like somewhat derelict NYC buildings. The sets are very tall and were built right on to empty lots around the street. There are also serveral cranes and trucks around.

On King St there are also several trucks set up, a cast holding area and set in Jackson Square (a mall in downtown Hamilton), as well as a Yellow Lamborghini (!) on the street.

I was around all these late last night, so there were no crew around therefore I can't confirm or deny that it is the Hulk. But due to the large sets and set up I would spec that it is. I have pics that I'll post in the next few days.

First post :)

Hey I was down in Toronto on Sunday and saw filming on Sheppard St between Adelaide and Richmond, did anyone get any pics or vid from that day? Looked like a car chase or something

Is that Bruce (Norton) and Betty (Tyler)?

With the script rundown I am guessing this is where Bruce and Betty are on the run and are now in NYC trying to find Stern.

that is correct. Norton and Tyler in that pic. I saw that prop, teh stairs going down to the subway, its just the railings, no actual stairs going down, they were wheeling that prop around the street, kind of funny.

Things are really heating up on the Hulk set here in Hamilton.

The burning bus with the car thru it was there with crew adding touch ups to the paint.

Signs are going up along the buildings.

Newspaper stands have been erected, along with the subway entrance props.

I will be heading down there 2mrw to grab some pics. However, security has been beefed up since I last submitted those pics to SHH.I'll see how it goes.

So they're shooting the same scene in two different locations??? That's weird. Must be some reason for that.

Filming starts tomorrow until Friday of this week.Stops for a few days and then starts up again next Wednesday until Friday.

Toronto and Hamilton are only 45 mins apart too.I don't know if 1st or 2nd unit is coming down here though.

Motorists are reminded that Main Street East at James Street and John Street South between Jackson Street and King Street East will be closed to traffic overnight beginning October 4 for the filming of scenes from the Incredible Hulk.

On October 4 and 5 and October 9 to 12, Main Street will be closed between James Street and Catharine Street at 6:30 p.m. and reopening to traffic by 7:00 a.m. On these dates, John Street South between Jackson Street and King Street will also be closed to traffic between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., however HSR buses will continue to use John Street between 9:00 p.m. and midnight. Traffic on other downtown streets such as Hughson Street and Bowen Street will also be affected.

The City of Hamilton’s Public Works Department suggests that during the road closure period, through traffic headed eastbound on Main Street should detour north at Bay Street, east on York Boulevard/Wilson Street to Catharine Street, then north on Catharine Street to rejoin Main Street. Local traffic downtown will be detoured south on James Street to Jackson Street rejoining Main Street at Walnut Street.

This movie looks freaking amazing so far. The videos are incredible...no pun intended.

I encourage residents to check out filming of the Incredible Hulk one of these evenings during the next week.
A friend and I took in the scene last night and it was fantastic. Restaurants and take-out places were booming in the area and the set is downright fantastic. We also saw our fair share of explosions and firebombs.
A great viewing area is the upper levels of the Ramada Hotel parking garage. Just wait for a car to go in, and walk on in.
Having just returned from New York City, I'm amazed at the detail in this set. There is even a replica subway station.
Also, don't miss the Harmony Furniture sign all the lights are fixed and glowing beautiful neon again, as it did for many years on Barton Street.
Despite media reports making this event sound more like a nuisance (remember the World Cycling Championships), this is actually a great event in downtown Hamilton. People are everywhere and you don't need to yell to carry on a conversation with someone like you usually do on Main Street.
All is quiet other than the odd explosion, and that centre yellow line painted down the middle of Main Street is a sight for sore eyes.
Check the city's website for filming times.

Damn that's a great shot :wow: Do we know what caused the damage ? Ive not read any of the spoilers ppl have been into.
