This is something I have a hankering to see, a television show about Connor Kent. Infact, I dare say that Smallville would have been better off had it been about Connor Kent. The show could have taken it's own direction and not been forced to hold back for obvious reasons. Connor Kent could have been shown being raised by elderly Kents in this show and stopping meta-humans and living a social life.

no, no, no

Actually, the more I think about it, I probably wouldn't mind a series of this nature.

Of course, I suspect most other fans would prefer a Superman proper (translation: Clark Kent/Kal-El).

I'd watch it. but who would play Connor?

Thats a good question my man. Let me ponder this for awhile.

But I do think Connor's story is one worth telling someday, in some format, albeit it live action or animated.

How about Adam Gregory for Kon-El / Superboy?

While I see why you like this guy. I personally think he is to pretty looking for my taste, albeit Connor or Superman.

My choice is Enver Gjorak from Dollhouse. Is he slavic looking, yes. Is he on the slender side, yes. But the dude has the jawline, the hair, a body that I think can carry some muscle, and he can flat out act.

I love the Superboy/Connor Kent/Kon-El character BUT as a live action show I dont think it would work. Superman would certainly have to make appearances and it would just be too expensive. Oh and Smallville is fine as it is.

Now as a cartoon this could be great in my opinion. I was always hoping he'd have turned up on JLU when they were doing the Cadmus arc.

I don't think it would work. Most people outside of comic fandom probably don't even know who Connor Kent/Kon-El is.

There's a show already airing called Smallville which is about Kal-El himself. This is peaking at about 3 million viewers on a good day, I severely doubt that a show about the much less popular and less well known Connor Kent will ever do well.
