A&E Orders Adaptation of French Series 'The Returned' From Carlton Cuse

Weird. This was almost a shot for shot remake of the French show. Even the actors and locations looked very similar to the French version.

Even though this remake is very close to the original it seems to lack a little of the French versions eerie atmosphere. I think it might be down to the cinematography and not using the mogwai musical score.

The second season of the French original show has started and it is great. The show has the creepy supernatural vibe the American remake lacked.
