Some people say The Two Thousands. I think the old fashioned term was The Aughts, as in aught five, aught six, etc.

The aughts sounds cool. I'll stick with it. What about the 10's? Haha, I have a feeling in thirty years we will just be reffering to 2000-2020 as the early 2000's like we call 1900-1920 the early 1900's.

Yeah, the teens will be a tough one to name. I miss being spoiled, being at the end of the century. Anything prior to the 1920's didnt get mentioned very often. Every once in a while, I realize that people 90 years from now will look back at us the way we looked back at people from 1910: Hard to believe we were from the same century. "Typing on a keyboard? How primitive." "Look at how sucky their special effects are. I cant believe they were blown away by Avatar."

Am I the only one who doesn't think that Avatar's graphics aren't amazing? I prefer the LOTR Special FX. Avatar is at best like Tekken 6 cinematic effects.
