CC, you ever see either the BBC or SYFY BEING HUMAN? I am not into the whole Vamp/Werewolf thing by any measure (I dislike Vampires on the basis that there is nothing "sexy" or "mysterious" about them. To my mind they are essentially Rapist/Serial Killers... but I digress...) but I really love both shows. They really do a good job of grounding the supernatural mythos and still have thrills, chills and spills.

ive heard that is a good show, i'd def check it out if given the chance

i used to hate hate hate vampires. but they're growing on me lately. Vampire Diaries has a very cool mythos, as does Vampire Academy. I had to read the latter in a book swap with a friend and got so engaged in them, i finished all 6 in about 2 months

However you can, I'd suggest checking out the SYFY version before the BBC. I think this is a rare case of the Americanized version being better than the original, and that's saying something because I LOVE the BBC version.

I just recently got the DVD box set of WItchblade an old show I used to love based on the comic of the same name. I really love it but wish it was more like the comic.

Actually I love BBC's BH. But it kind of got away from them, in my opinion, and not just because they lost an actor to THE HOBBIT. I think that SYFY's show is just more focused. That being said I would give my left arm to get one more series with Tom, Hal and Alex.
