It's not looking like I will be enjoying this one either.

I dug the hell out of the GotG 2 trailer. The bit with the button and the bomb didn't land with me at all and I prefer big Groot, but otherwise looks pretty good.

i dont understand a lot of the hate for GotG... probably because i knew nothing about it. GotG2 looks fun enough... not sure about the baby groot either... but whatever, if he dances to more Jackson 5...

I don't have any hate for GotG, but I don't have a ton of love for it either. It's fine, and it was fun. The sequel looks like fun too. I'm mainly excited for it for Kurt Russell's character and Baby Groot.

Is there really a lot of hate for GOTG? I find most don't share my dislike of the film. For me... It just didn't work, which given the way the film began was disappointing. Sort of the same way I felt about Strange. The first half hour led me to think I'd get something really good with some depth along with the thrills and it just didn't work out that way, for me at least. And that's not to say that the humor in GOTG didn't work. It did. It worked gangbusters... But I don't go to these films to see a comedy, and I am starting to think that those elements are what they work the most on at Marvel and the "super hero" stuff is an afterthought except for making sure they have some big SFX sequence.

I loved GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY.....it was a hilarious irreverent space opera....loads of fun.

I really like RED SUN.....Charles Bronson, Toshiro Mifune, Alain Delon, and Ursula Andress....outlaw cowboy and a samurai taking on other outlaws and Indians to retrieve a ceremonial sword that the Japanese were going to give to the president.
