When I lived out in Hawaii they had all this state mandated environment junk the cars had to pass. Check around and see which of your homies know the guys that will just slap the sticker on there for a few extra bucks. Much easier than dealing with all that other BS for a used car.

Was just pondering...

Is it just me or has the reaction to Dr. Strange been kinda like the reaction to Age Of Ultron? Despite the usual posters that always find everything from Marvel Studios the "Best", it's only been two weeks since it came out and those threads are pretty dead already. It's making money but like AoU I don't think many are embracing it in full. This seem like the reaction to anyone else?

Varth, you mod in the Strange threads. I know you liked it. That said, am I really off in my view?
It was totally middle-of-the-road Marvel in my view. Nothing I really disliked, but also nothing worth getting excited over. I liked AoU more, tbh.

Marvel is 14 films and 10 seasons worth of TV into their franchise, so I'm not shocked that Dr. Strange didn't light the Hype on fire like other, bigger CBM's would.

All the non-MCU fanboys (i.e. casual movie-goers) I'm friends with can't stop raving about how awesome DS is. As far as in the CBM community it's kind of hard for us (even the fanboys) to get super excited about MCU origin films. We've had almost a decade of them and while they do their best to throw the fanboys afew bones in the form of easter eggs, for the most part, the origin films are cookie-cutter and all about getting the GA onboard with the "new" franchise. Of course, I thought DS was awesome (specifically the 3D) but the numbers interest me more than discussing vast details about the actual movie itself.

Well said. We all pretty much know what to expect with these Marvel origin stories.

An expert in making lame jokes thinks Doctor Strange jokes are lame.
I lost my confidence in humor.

....heh what makes him an expert in lame jokes and why would you listen to him?

Not posted the crazy selfies in a couple of weeks so...

Batman Begins is a great origin story...and Ra's Al Ghul was a great villain.
STILL my fave Bats movie.
I keep saying in the Doctor Strange threads, what marvel has in the Kaecilius Prelude comic SHOULD have been in the movie.
Where Mordo is Strange's teacher, Drumm is Kaecilius' teacher for one. You see WHY Kaecilius even goes to Kamar Taj and why he cries.
It kind of ticks me off marvel has this need to sell some comics at the same time as the movie instead of including the story IN the film

You can make meat loaf, mac and cheese and green peas at home and enjoy them. Doesn't mean when you go to a restaurant that you want them to make you the same thing in the same way as you yourself could.

We are going food crazy in Community again it seems.

I saw his opinion, unintentionally.

His jokes are like burnt meatloaf.

I ordered this month's lootcrate and I was sent two of the same box. So now I have two Doctor Strange Q figs, two Fantastic Beasts shirts, two Big Trouble in Little China comics, and two Game of Thrones journals.

What's a q fig?

All of the MCU's humor is hit or miss, but Doc Strange's humor was more flat and forced than usual. Especially Cumberbatch's attempts at humor.
