Being from the UK I don't give thanks at all, I just eat duck when the Yanks eat turkey.

Happy I'm off today and tomorrow paid day!

I didn't figure this out until after I got off work yesterday but next year I'm going to do this. We get Thanksgiving day off paid, I also get a free paid day off for my birthday which is very close to Thanksgiving. So next year I'm going to work enough hours to cover the 8 hours on the Friday after Thanksgiving and then use my birthday paid day off for the following Monday.

So next year I'll have a 5-day vacation without using any of my PTO. It's going to be awesome.
