So PSN has a flash sale and Black Friday sale at the same time going on. I was going to get the Star Wars Battlefront Deluxe edition but despite the name, it turns out that it only has a few extras like some emotes and mid-tier weapons as an early unlock. So **** that. I thought it included all the DLC as the regular version was a few bucks cheaper. The fact that they had to have several tiers in the pricing of the Base version, 'Deluxe' and Ultimate which does include the DLC just turned me off the entire purchase.

I'll be getting Doom instead. I will be having much more fun with that.

Weird that you just brought that up. Only yesterday I specifically recalled it and looked up the ending on youtube again. And I remember what came before was pretty horrific too. Horror films in general aren't my thing but I like to watch genuinely scary ones to help me appreciate how good life is as long as you can avoid **** like that. t:

In those, it's not a matter of staying away from certain places/things but it being more of just a matter a time until they find you.

If you're interested, the three movies are The Thing, Prince of Darkness and In the Mouth of Madness. ItMoM is one of my favorite horror movies ever due to being freaking amazing and mind screwy.

Well I've seen The Thing which was very good. Don't think I've seen the other 2 and didn't know The Thing was part of a trilogy. Interesting, will add those to the list.

It's not part of a 'normal' trilogy. The other two movies have nothing to do with The Thing. The trilogy is about Carpenters movies going from bad to worse in the sense of how utterly ****ed the world is by the end.

Yeah that extra non-DLC stuff is nothing to me. Not paying extra for that but if they want to sell real DLC content at the same time for a bit of a discount I usually go for it. Doom looks great btw.

I figure it's either a sequel or an apology.

Gearbox has nothing to apologize for... Duke Forever was hardly their fault... They just bought it and helped distribute it as part of the agreement, I believe. Hopefully, if they make another one, it's a big time reboot.
