as long as its not as over the top stupid as supergirl, sure.

*snicker* no Valley girl dumb either huh? lmao

I actually like the show. Right now the two DC shows that bore me are Arrow and Gotham

So much TiVo material I'm part of, and they don't want me to the one to share.....

Not gonna **** on it in their threads but... That CW DC crossover was insipid as all get out. Everything that is subpar about those shows wrapped up in a bow. Bar the SFX and costumes this is really mediocre TV. The dialog is so bad. The characterizations are terrible and cliche and so much is forced. There is no sense of stakes at all thanks to Felicity, Cisco and the other supporting characters being "geeky funny" every minute.

Then there is the way the writers just don't think things through when it comes to things. Why did Barry just let a gang of aliens just walk right by him when this started? Why does a group of scientists not use common sense when looking for the Arrow crew and think "Maybe our friends that were transported onto an alien spaceship... Maybe they are, ya'know... IN SPACE?" Why waste an entire episode of a crossover with the Arrow team in a derivative story we have seen many times before? Why did Barry run Ollie and Diggle all the way to the penthouse? Why not take out Vigilante right then and there?

The answers? Greg Berlanti and his writing staff are really, really good at making really, really mediocre TV. I like seeing super heroes fighting aliens in their full costumes as much as anyone but the rest of it is piss poor. The ratio of quality to well done elements with these shows is just so very disappointing.

Yeah, I was planning on binging the crossover today, but literally everyone whose opinion I trust hated it. Worst of all Dolph Lundgren was nowhere in sight.

io9 loved it, read their reviews and I usually agree with them. I haven't watched those shows for a minute now though so can't speak to their current quality.

well... when the Arrow episode is the best one of a 4 part crossover.. you know there is trouble.

The crossover was a mess IMO. Not everyone has to like it, but DCTV is not bad. At least not overall, or in general. It wouldn't have gone over as well with fans and critics if it was.

and then they set it up so supergirl can come back anytime! woo! I was hoping they sent her to hell.

Count on Victarion to kill the lounge.

Victarion decided to go bigger and he's going to kill everyone starting with Santa.

That's eye of the beholder stuff brother.

The DCTV shows have been very lackluster to these eyes from the giddyup.

That is fair enough and your first line is very true. We all like different things. Fortunately for superhero fans, there is a lot of variety ATM

Slade don't listen to Krypton... he's just bitter about life ever since he lost the role of Black Canary to Katie Cassidy.

I was into this stuff at the start, but they ultimately lost me. I couldn't commit to four 23 episode network shows that I'd stopped enjoying. Only show I dug from the absolute get go was Constantine.

That is a shame. For what it is worth, I am sure he would have looked great in the Black Canary outfit. Maybe even better than Katie did.

I thought Katie was horrible in season 2, and I'd blamed the actress at the time. But during season 3, when the hellbeast known as Felicity took centre stage and they actually started writing Laurel as a badass no nonsense crime fighter, she was by far and away the best thing on the show. I just think they needed better writers and show runners.

Felicity was immensely popular in the early seasons. They tried to capitalise on that by making her more important and giving her a bigger role, but the character does not suit that. She is not interesting or deep enough a character to be as important as they made her IMO. She lost a lot of what made people love her in the early seasons.

Felicity just as 'Oracle' was great. The showrunners even admitted they messed up with Olicity...

Arrow season 1 is still my favorite, 2 being a close 2nd... they should have 14-16 episode seasons instead. all the random villain of the week stories that have nothing to do with the previous episode or the one after it are detrimental to both arrow and flash.. i dont watch the other two at all.

and say what you will about Katie... shes hawwwwwt

I agree with all of that regarding Arrow and Flash. They should be shortened. I also think season 1 of Arrow was better, but most seem to prefer season 2.
