Well, stop leaving your Lunchables laying around with the top off.

I've been down this moral battle before. I usually go with sticky pads and let them go near someone else's house. I wish they made sticky pads for shunks because I got two under my house right now that will not leave :-(

Oh. Don't use those things. The animal tries to eat it own limbs to escape. Then they just suffocate and starve to death. Very cruel.

At least an old time mouse trap usually kills them quickly.

The best deterrent is a cat. It's smell alone will scare most meeces to pieces.

:doom: :doom: :doom:

Name the mouse Jerry and get a blue cat named Tom...
Keep a fat, female housekeeper of African American decent...
Also, one very mean and chained bulldog....

I get mice from time to time in my apartment. I use those glue traps and when it catches one i leave it there for a couple of days and they actually end up trying to chew their limbs off. Awesome.

I used a plastic flip/humane trap when I lived with my dad.
It could catch up to 5 mice, they walk through the tunnel and get flipped into a holding cell.
I used to take it to work with me when I'd catch one (or more) and let them go in the field behind my work.
I would catch one or more a week.
My dad, using standard neck breaker traps, caught barely anything.

From my experiences, barring a cat, that flip trap (well baited and placed) or glue traps actually work the best. The glue traps are horrible but I have used them in the past.

Someone mentioned skunks before and I've never tried this but I heard the following before and that it works great.
Skunks are nocturnal and usually leave their "home" at night in search of food.
Watch them at night and wait till they ALL leave the nest and are out of view (good and far away).
Sprinkle human hair clippings and urine near where they are comming in/ going out.
Supposedly, when they return home they'll smell your scent and go find another place to live.

Give him a little motorcycle to ride around on.

What was that old Saturday Morning Special movie with the mouse on the motorcycle? I remember they were always trying to catch him with the vacuum cleaner.

It's The Mouse and the Motorcycle..and it's a book by Beverly Cleary. But yeah, ABC made a TV movie.

I used to love that movie. I'd really get scared for that mouse when I was 6 years old.

Don't kill him, we might be related. :p

oatmeal and rice cakes...

I'm suprised the mouse isn't dead already eating that stuff :down

DEATH TO THE MOUSE!

I had this little plastic box trap where i could just let him out in the back yard, you should LET HIM LIVE
