A new box set/dvd edition coming?

I saw this really really really cool DVD packaging for a DVD edition called X-Men Premium. Is that a new DVD edition coming?

Jesus, the dvd is guarded as being made of gold. Three covers...

Though the coat one is quite cool. And since I don't own any of the X-dvds, I might actually buy that if it came to Brazil, which is kinda impossible.

Those 'Definitive Edition' versions were also released in the UK. I have them both.

Oddly, there is no Definitive Edition for the third movie... yet, at least.

Well...I got somewhat of an early Christmas present...a Multi Region DVD player...the region 1 X-Men Trilogy and the 6 disc region 2 X-Men Trilogy...all 3 from the same person...I have to work soon so I won't be able to indulge myself till tomorrow...Hows the region 1 set? Hows the region 2 set? For those who have experienced both...which is better?

I saw those in HMV today. I don't quite get what makes them special other than the tin case and redesigned cover.

I presume other movies are following on, I saw ones for DareDevil and AvP in Definitive Edition.

I'm surprised they havent released an extended edition of X-Men yet, the movie is still very good as it is (watched it for the first time in ages today and forgot how good it is), but the only way i'll buy another edition is if the extra scene's are actually cut into the movie rather than what we got with 1.5

I want Extended Editions of all three movies. The only movie that NEEDS it is X3, but it would be nice to have them extended. If they can extend the already-long LOTR movies for DVD and if Oliver Stone can keep releasing Alexander (three times it's been done!), then why can't we have new versions of the X-movies. I really don't know why Fox won't do this.

I know...I recieved the 6 disk region 2 as an X-Mas gift...little bonus was a region free or whatever dvd player to play them...

That's about it. But they were remastered as well, and i thought maybe they'd done this in readiness for a HD release.

I also thought there were a few tiny changes - Storm says 'I can't control it' at Liberty Island in X1, not 'I can't control it like that', at least i seem to remember she did unless a plant pot fell on my head and I dreamt it during a concussion.
