Yes, but there are always exceptions.

unless you live in a major city you should probably have a set of wheels by 19, and a job no matter what.

Are you talking about having a car that the guy paid for, or a car that's a cheap hand me down from his parents?

Does it matter?

A job, yes, a car, it's cool but not necessary.

Then it would be hard to get to the job without the car :p

Not if you can walk or take public transportation. Now, what do you got to say to that? :D :p

You really wanna take the bus?...................

Sure why not. Either way, with rising gas prices and such, many major cities are looking for ways to totally revamp and improve on its public transportation system

In a situation that youre going on a date, yes the bus is incredibly lame but can be romantic if you play it right.

Usually, only at night and it's rare. If you're worried, then just sit near the driver.

I take the bus to places I want to go, and there's nothing wrong with it. I would rather walk then drive a car somewhere

Once, since the bus was ahead of schedule, the driver took a break for about three minutes. This elderly lady at the front goes up to complain, and the driver says that she has to wait because of the schedule. The woman babbles jibberish and profanities, then clambers off the bus waving her arms about. Then about thirty seconds later the driver takes off and drives past her walking and she curses the bus with her fist. :D There were about six people on other than myself and we all chuckled, a bus full of *******s. :(

But seriously, the bus rules. Sometimes.

If you're on a big date, you might as well pay for a cab.

unless its a low-key date,of course.

Curse your logic!

I was ****ed over growing up. at 17, the summer between junior and senior year of highschool, I desperately wanted some cash in my pocket and a car. Horrible cycle. Parents were "renovating" our house, took all their money, so no money to set me up with a POS to get to a fro work, so no job, and no money. Lucky, I later spent the summer with my brother in Red Stick, so I just walked to my job at Jack in the Box.

Job - YES! At 19 you are too old to be supported solely by your parents/guardians.

Car - only if you need one. If you don't really need one and can get by without one, then it's not super important. Or if you share one with your parents/spouse/guardian/roomate that's cool too, if you can make it work. But you should have your license at least.

You should be asking this question in the War Lord Solution thread.

I can't really answer this question here, because it would be a conflict of interest.

if you want a better chance of getting a good job when your in your early 20's then get one before you're 19. experience helps.
