When the DVD comes out, would it be possible for someone with the Region 2 DVD to rip the deleted / alternate scene of the Wolverine speech in the subbasement before they head off to Alcatraz?

That's the ONE deleted scene I was really looking forward to (as I like the trailer version better than what we got), but by my understanding, it's not on the U.S. version.

:cmad:

here in hong kong, we get to choose R1 and R2, but ima get both for an extra disc of 1hr 30 mins footage.

Don't worry, Nell. Both Worthy and I checked out the DVDs at our respective Blockbusters in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He got the regular edition, I got the Collector's, and both of them had all 21 deleted scenes that R2 had.

who lives in NJ??? lol i checked out the blockbuster and what?! i forget..X3 is out?!

yeah i thought it was being released tuesday, looks like some blockbusters are cheating

All retailers / rental places get copies early.

If they are selling them early, then damnit they need to be in my area so I can get it!

As far as all regions having all 21 deleted scenes, are you sure? I saw the screencaps of the Region 1 DVD menus, and only 10 deleted scenes and 3 alternate endings were listed.

21 deleted scenes? On the HMV UK website, it says 22.

I agree with Nell, the alternate scene in the basement is the deleted scene I'm most looking forward to!

UK though... not the U.S. version.

Worthy... the commercials for the DVD only say there's 10 deleted scenes. I saw quite a few commercials today during the football game.

I don't know how your version has all of those scenes, but I'm guessing that won't be the version released on Tuesday.

We both work at Blockbuster, which is how we bought our copies early. The version I bought is exactly the same as the version that will be released on Tuesday, and that version has 21 deleted scenes. Trust me. :woot:

Commercials say only 10 deleted scenes, and I believe the copies I got in at my work say 10 as well.

Unless the "alternate" scenes aren't considered "deleted"?

Nothing personal to you or Worthy, but I'm gonna err on the side of caution. You know, prepare for the worst, hope for the best?

I guess I'll know on Tuesday!

You sure they don't just say Deleted Scenes (Minus the 10)? The copy I have just says 'Deleted Scenes and 3 Alternate Endings with Optional Audio Commentary.'

im soo confused R1 and R2, commercials say only 10 deleted scenes....UH

in USA what DVDs have it all?

The commercial I saw during "Desperate Housewives" tonight (which, by coincidence, now also stars Dougray Scott) said it had 10 deleted scenes and 3 alternate endings, so I'm going to assume that's what it is as well.

Unless they're planning to surprise us and add all the extras everyone else is getting too...but I doubt it. :csad:

:woot: what difference does it makes someone will have the whole freaking thing on youtube of every version out by Tuesday night so no one should buy anything

Just got it in hong kong... R1 has 21 scene .
R3 ( which i also got ) is the same, but extra commentary and things

Extra disc 1.5 hr features are just makings of and interviews.

Perhaps it does.

But it doesn't change that the commercials I've been seeing have stated "10 Deleted Scenes and 3 Alternate Endings", and I know that for a fact.

I was watching football on Fox today, so they were showing X-Men: The Last Stand commercials right and left.

I think that's what they mean, because the copy I have has all the scenes listed by Worthy.
