I think he showed all of those deleted scenes that didn't make it into the movie to try and amp us up to see it. Plus, he actually said "Their are n deleted scenes, which has never happened to me before"...didn't he? Let's see..

Most of the Storm scenes were not even in
No Bobby and Kitty kiss
No Rogue and Bobby kiss
Half of speach when they were about to go to Alcatraz


And tons more. I think that is what also made the movie suck because the stuff we did see that made us wanna see the movie even more..wasn't even in the movie. Take the 1st official trailer for example...

I was soooooooooooo happy to see Storm shoot lightning outta her hands! Especially when she looked all active doing it. But that didn'tmake it. And OMG the tidal wave scene?! That is what made me almost what my pants..but that didn't make it. I also LOVED Logan's speech and that should have also been in the film but wasn't. Like I said, their was tons of stuffmissing, and it seems as though ratner did it on purpose..but said I THINK.

extdened jean house and dark phoeni xdestruction had to be cut for age rating

All deleted scenes are on the 2 Disc any region but 1 edition. Ratner is double dipping the region 1 fans with another x3 dvd release I think around xmas last I read. Special Features wise the Region 1 X3 DVD sucks ass compared to the other region exclusive 2 disc

Hey, I'm not saying it's a good thing. In fact, I think it's low, base, and vile. All I'm saying is that Ratner's not sitting in his lair with his fingers templed cackling with glee because the Region 1 DVD sucks.

EDIT: kooguy911 is correct. Two editions of the film will be released on October 3. Both are one disc, but one will have the Stan Lee comic included.

Regions are simply different areas of the world that have differently formatted DVDs and other appliances, similar to the difference between PAL and NTSC.

Many people are speculating that a 2-disc edition will surface in the States at some point in the next year. Not sure if the bit about Christmas was directed at me, but I don't recall saying anything to that effect?

That doesn't even make sense. If you buy a DVD in the US, it's going to be Region 1, and it's going to be one disc. You can only get the two disc set overseas, and even if you did buy that, it would be a different region and more than likely wouldn't work on your player, unless you somehow managed to stumble your way across a multi-region DVD player.

Actually it was Ratner's decision. He said he is "working on the 2 disc but since it isn't done yet we will release the 1 disc which they have enough stuff ready for. So the ultimate fan will have to wait for the 2 disc."

I've done that already. I was just trying to muddle my way through this guy's post, but I seem to have missed the mark, so I'm done trying to figure it out.
