These are the clues to a gift that my roommate got me. Let me know what you think up or find out. Any help would be appreciated.

2. You can read it but you probably don't want to.
3. Electricity isn't required, but you probably want it.
4. Once you scratch the surface, endless possibilities open up.
5. You've (Meaning me I think) almost certainly never seen it before.

This is slightly time sensitive, so let me know as soon as you can.

How bout a blu-ray dvd?

1) play on the name/color
2) You can read the outside of the case, but who the heck wants to do that when they can watch it?
3) You don't need electricity for the dvd, but you would want it for the player you watch it on.
4) Another play on the dvd. The multiple layers, blah blah blah
5) You haven't seen the movie. Also, the movie is in the package so hardly anyone has physically seen it.

I'm probably way off but just trying to think of something real.
