I think that's two HOURS from LA to NY, Lord Siva. 
Still, very cool technology. Only a matter of time before it finds it's way into commercial jets. The opportunity to run more flights per day and increase revenue will be too tempting to pass up for the airlines. Suddenly it will be possible to do more business on the opposite coasts for people, which should also be good for the economy.
