Sonic has the best desserts and drinks.
Steak N Shake has the best quality burgers and their premium topping steak burgers are yummy. The also have the best shakes.
Checkers has the best fries and pretty good burgers.
A&W has the best variety of stuff you won't find at other places.
Chick-Fil-A has the best overall food.

fun fact: Jacksonville, FL is the only place where I've seen both Checkers AND Rallys...and that makes no sense for them to both exist in the same place.

Alright, let's break this down....

- Sonic does indeed have the best drinks.
- Steak N Shake, however, does not have anywhere near the best burgers. Their shakes are decent.
- Checkers (Rally's in my are) has the best fries, hands down. Soooo good.
- A&W is complete garbage. Nastiest burger and fries I've ever had. They should just stick to Root Beer and call it a day.
- I'll agree that Chick-Fil-A has the best overall food for a fast food joint. Best chicken nuggets and sandwiches, that's for damn sure.

Ok, why would anyone care about the "quality" of the burger if it doesn't taste the best? This is fast food, kid, not a 5 star restaurant.

Secondly, I'll clarify about A&W. They have the nastiest food I've ever had. Those "cheese curds" are disgusting. They taste like they've been fried in fish oil. The corn dogs don't taste anything unlike what I would by the grocer's freezer. And the chili dogs? I live in Cincinnati. We practically invented them.

Whether it's nasty or not doesn't change the fact that they've got a lot of junk that other people don't. Sonic has a few of those things and that's the closest I've seen.

A worse burger than A&W would probably be either Dairy Queen or Krystal(which is southern speak for White Castle).

This thread's about fast food goodness, not what burger has the least amount of trans fats. No one cares about that. Besides, if you're eating a cheeseburger, chances are the health factor ain't too high up on your priority list.

I'll agree about DQ. Nasty, nasty, nasty food. Alright ice cream, though. And White Castles are amazing. Best after hours food on the planet. Next to Skyline Chili that is.

They use actual ****ing steak, I like them and that's why I put it up there. It is better for you and uses much better quality meat which is a bonus, get over it. Also, speak for yourself about not caring, thanks. I agree about the cheeseburgers but I don't like cheese on my burgers.

I think that White Castle is vile and I only ever used to get it because you can get a bunch of them for cheap. If I wanted to get a bunch of something for semi-cheap, I'd go to Arbys.

I want Sonic but I don't want to drive over there.

In N Out is the BEST burger IMO. To the guy who said they are overrated because they carry only 3 combos...well you don't know In N Out very well. Fresh made buns, lettuce, onions, tomotoes and potatoes = they get my money. There is a reason that they are ALWAYS busy.

I used to live in San Diego and I love In N Out and Soup Plantation, they were incredible. Then I had to move to Hilton Head, South Carolina

I'd love for them to make one where I live, but if it wasn't the same quality burger I love...there'd be no point in having one
