I must say, I'm very intrigued. Plus, good cast.

I'm stoked for this. Good premise.

Of course, I didn't know what the hell those "What Did You See?" promos were until a couple of days ago.

it's good you put "ABC's" because otherwise I would have thought you were talking about the show with Ben Foster...but that may have been on ABC too. hmmm...

I remember that. I thought it was pretty good... until I decided to re-watch an episode on Youtube.... did not stand the test of time.

I will have to check this out... and I hope it is good... or at least better than most of the LOST inspired mystery-drama shows that they have attempted in the past.

I'm reading this book right now, it's pretty good, although in the book the world flash forwards to 30 years into the future, when on the show they only flash forward six months into the future.

That's kinda the thing I'm afraid of. Not the quality of the show, it already seems better than all the other LOST inspired shows ABC's done. I'm more afraid of pretty much every media outlet calling it "the new LOST" and all the potential viewers just kinda lose interest and dont even give the show a chance. I love LOST, of course, but if you call anything "the next ____", it's bound to disappoint alot of people.

Well. It may deliver for a season and then jump off the edge of good/crap... and then never climb back up to get on the side of good ever again.

*cough Heroes cough*

im about to watch the trailer as soon as The Darkness song stops playing on my itunes.

but i have to say im already not a fan of this show for pushing Ugly Betty to Fridays....

we'll see.

ehh. im moderately interested. V looked like more fun..... i prolly watch an episode to gauge my interest.

Very excited for this, the concept really grabs me. I'm not familiar with the book, but the premise doesn't seem to lend itself to multiple seasons. Hopefully they take a note from Lost and have an ending planned.

Nothing like a show starting out excellent, only to write itself into oblivion. <---Alternate spelling for Heroes.

They are probably going to have a second blackout at the end of the season but it will be limited to fewer people. Hence, creating the tension of some people knowing the future for the rest of us. Happening over and over to fewer people each season untl the main character can figure out what is causing it.

That's one way I can see the premise stretching multiple seasons.

Anyway. Looks cool. I'll give it a chance, but a straight up drama like that will be difficult to keep interesting.

Think McFly Think Exclusive Interview with Marc Guggenheim:

FLASH FORWARD

One of the items currently on Guggenheim's plate is his role as executive producer of the television series "Flash Forward," which is scheduled to debut this fall on ABC.

The concept behind "Flash Forward" is that everyone on Earth blacks out for 2 minutes and 17 seconds. During the blackout, people experience visions of April 29, 2010, which is six months into the future at that point. When the "flash forward" is over, many people have died in accidents involving vehicles, aircraft or other devices that require human control.

The plot is adapted from the 1999 book "Flashforward" by Robert J. Sawyer.

"I like to use the phrase 'inspired by.' [The show's writers] took the storyline in a different direction than the novel," said Guggenheim. "If you read the book and find the concept intriguing, you will really enjoy what David (Goyer) and Brannon (Braga) did with it."

Check out the rest of the interview including more on Flash Forward as well as Eli Stone and Green Lantern.

Would have rathered it of been Nestor Carbonell.

He's still got work to do on LOST. I hope the producers make him a regular for the final season.

According to Guggenheim, the show has the ability to sustain a high level of quality over a number of seasons.
"We figure it can go seven years pretty comfortably," he said. "At a minimum, we figure we would need three seasons [to tell the story]."

So, now that Dominic Monaghan has been confirmed, I wonder what how his character will interact with the rest of the cast...

I'm subscribing. This show's intriguing to me as well. Waiting on Sept. 24.

Bump. Less than three weeks.

ABC has been doing a good job of promoting this series. I'm really excited.

The entire pilot has been leaked to the torrents. I hope this doesn't adversely affect the ratings.
