Smallville did this all the time in the earlier seasons. Clark would just flick a guy and he would crash into a car. Good times.
Something tells me the robber is going to pop up again. You don't take a fall off of a ten story building and walk away. He may be part of Stephen Collins' little super powered clique.
You still have to wonder why Jim and George were not surprised by how completely unharmed the guy was after a death fall.
I don't think the family will act as a super team as that would require the kids being put in danger on purpose. The shows highlight at the moment is the interaction between Steph and Katie, Julie Benz and Autumn Reeser work well together.
I was really pissed off at the Mom in this episode. She could have easily used her superspeed to help her husband stop the crooks too.

Risking exposing their powers to everyone in that room in the process. The mom said previously not to expose their powers by helping & she was right with that. The best thing that could have been done is for the daughter as others have said to just read their minds as they were escaping
Exactly, work as a family/team dammit. Give me eye popping and creative use of their talents. It would be interesting that as a super team they work together perfectly, but domestically, they have the same issues as any family would have.
They are still new to the whole powers thing. Maybe that stuff will happen eventually.

I think the first episode is iffy because IMO it felt like there was so much story that needed to be told in that episode and they had to cram it into an hour episode. Finally got into this show last week. I was quite skeptical at first, but I am enjoying it so far, infact I liked it alot more after watching the second episode. The first episode I was still a bit iffy.
Here is my review of the pilot http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yd5cG5DOxEI
Tv is my obsession, so I review and do alot of other tv centric things on my channel, check it out if you want.
as for the newest episode, I offically think JJ is the worst tv character in existence. I might have to do a top 5 worst tv characters list soon.
The Dad should wear a green suit & a frog mask & call himself The Leap Frog.
The Hulk doesn't get run over by cars.
I was a bit disturbed by Jim casually tossing that robber off the roof. I literally sat there and said, "Wow, he totally just killed that guy." And then the guy looked up at the cops, which made no sense. I don't think he's a superhuman, though. I think the show's just playing fast and loose with physics.
