I've been meaning to watch this. Is it worth it?

I think it is easier to swipe a card without being seen than it is to open a bag that someone is holding and go through it searching for a ring. If the bag was open and it was the only ring in there...then ya it is easy.

the robber leaves the bag open enough time for her to reach in as soon as her husband drops the ring in. my point though is she has superspeed and did nothing? i can understand her not wanting to get involved, but her kids were there and her mother instincts should have at least kick in a little. she did nothing.

It's all right. It gets a little heavy-handed and preachy sometimes, but I think it's got potential.

I really think that the son needs to be recast, he just isnt good performance wise.

His hair makes me uneasy. I don't know why. But I think he's fine otherwise. I just wish they'd get over this "secret power" subplot with him already. How many guilt trips is it gonna take for him to just tell the bloody parents?

I wonder when Michael Chiklis refers to the next few episodes "turning dark," if we might get to see the spoilers in the motion comics realized...

...with the kids abusing their powers and them getting captured by the Watcher because of it.

If so, that would really break out the fact that JJ has powers, I think.

I take it you never watched the "motion comics" on ABC.com? They came out before the pilot to sort of introduce people to the show. It featured the Watcher talking to a precog, and it alludes to what I was talking about in the spoiler. Then again, not sure if they're keeping what's in the motion comics canon, since they barely promoted the MCs.

So far leading up to be another solid episode. JJ is becoming less annoying. Although I wonder if his powers will lead to him becoming a supervillain. Right now he has all of the traits for it.

I think Heroes became the definitive cautionary tale for all future "super powers" shows. I hope the showrunners took note of where that show failed and avoid it with this one. That said, like u said, this show has a lot of potential but its a little too corny for my tastes sometimes. But i think once everything gets established and rolling then the show will grow darker.
