59% of teens are willing to stay off of Facebook for a year if they could get rid of their acne!

First off, how sad is it that they are using Facebook as an indication of sacrifice? Secondly, only 59% of teens would stay off of a stupid social networking site to clear their pizza face? What ****ing idiotic 41% of teens would rather check their Facebook than not have pulsing and irritating facial acne:huh: Why is it not 100%...I mean really:dry:

What the **** is happening to our society?:( Have fun being called names, OHHH! Mark is on!!!

I'd like to know why teens with acne would want to be on facebook in the first place, do they really want people seeing their ugly faces?

Photoshop... the online teen's best friend.

btw... where's the "I hate Mee" option?

****, if they remain on Facebook...they have people like Kaine, JAL, and Catman to worry about anyways.

I'm guessing that the 41% don't really have bad acne.
Throughout High school I can't remember having anymore than 2 pimples at the same time. I never really found it to be a problem, and wouldn't have given up something I enjoy for a year to fix it.

Actually they don't have to worry about any people like Kaine,JAL or Catman if they don't want to. I don't understand any Facebook hate, it's one of the most useful tools I have found on the internet.

If I am living in Orlando and want to keep track of friends six hours away, Facebook is fantastic. I wouldn't trade a year of the best medium to communicate with friends to get rid of acne.

The ad is stupid, but the hate for facebook is ridiculous.

Just call them on the phone:dry:

I never get on either of them:(

A myspace says more about you than a Facebook but if people are using them to keep in touch with friends then that is stupid. I would give up a myspace or facebook for my lifetime for no acne let alone a free cheeseburger.

Teens today are so dependant on facebook, myspace, and twitter...it is sad.

Using the hype isn't much different from using one of these social networking sites.

Would you give up the Hype for no acne? I would give up any internet site for anything good.

I mean Jesus Cristos, 41% said they would rather have acne than not have Facebook. What kind of kids are they raising?

But it is different in some ways, because I have Hype friends that I do not know in real life. In fact all of my "e-Friends" are just that. Friends from the internet, not just friends that I know who are on the internet.

People always make fun of what is popular among the latest generation because they are scared that they are losing touch.

"Facebook? PAH! Silly teen stuff! They'll get over it!"

The same thing was said about video games, television, mobile phones, the internet and anything that was new and popular since the dawn of time.

I hardly think that Facebook in and of itself is as revolutionary as cell phones and tv and the whole damn internet.

Kids born in the 21st Century?

It's not nearly as convenient. How is the phone any better than Facebook?
Yes it is:huh: I hate when people text back and forth for an hour...just ****ing call them. I also hate it when people post on your facebook or myspace or twitter or whatever ****ing long sentences describing what they have been doing and asking what you are up to. JUST CALL THEM.

That is the problem with society today, no actual social interacting. That poll proves that kids would rather have acne and talk on facebook than not have acne and talk in person. That is messed up. They would rather have a debilitating condition just to be able to say "Ohhh, Mark is on!"

I cannot believe you asked how the phone is better than facebook:dry: I am going to start interacting with friends and family through facebook instead of calling them:dry:

Yeah absolutely. The kids today are developing addictions to things didn't have acess to growing up . If i was in High School and you asked me to give up sega genesis or nintendo 64 , I don't know what I would do.
Actually I would of said yes then (acne was a bastard )but it would of been slightly difficult.

You know... some people can do both.

I never claimed that. But it is a popular form of communication. And of course, older generations make fun of it. Because they've been left behind.
