Comics Action comics: Donner's Bizarro.

Just got the new Action Comics, first part of Escape from Bizarro World.
Wow, the art is perfect for Superman. The artist from The Goon is doing this new story arc, and he's the right man for the Man of Steel.

It looks like a comic book from the 40's, very nice. I have always liked a golden age look for Kal-El.

Story started off nicely aswell. Looking forward to the escalation to it all.

It is a good time to be a SuperFan. Donner's co-writing, first Adam Kubert (Although I'd like to read the last part of the first arc!) now The Goon artist, and they finally made a very good Superman movie, straight to DVD, SUPERMAN/DOOMSDAY. Funny how a DVD movie was better than that Singer garbage, but if it's done by someone who cares then you get something good, but if some moron with no respect and no imagination does it it gets ruined.

What issues made up that first Donner (his Superman III) arc?

It was Action Comics 844, 845, 846 and 851, right?
