Was just thinking of this the other day. Notice how some actors or actresses are associated with a role. If you name them to the average joe on the street usually one movie will pop up. Now sometimes you may get two movies roles but on the average just that one will be named no matter what else the star has done.

Example. No matter how many great films James Stewart has done if you mention his name what's the film that people will think of? It's a Wonderful Life.

Actress? Julia Roberts....Pretty Woman.

Now I know that being film buffs here some may think of another just from having a favorite role outside the norm. But on the average what are some roles you can think of that the average film watcher will associate with an actor or actress?

Whenever Jamie Lee Curtis is brought up, Halloween follows. If not that one the second one I hear most following her is True Lies.

Notice how once someone takes on the Bond role then that's what they're known as.

Like Bale will be known for Batman..etc.

Tom Hanks-Forest gump
Kurt Russell-Escape from NY
kevin spacey-seven

I just know that even if all three actors (Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint) go on to successful acting careers, they are going to be forever known as Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley.

Keri Russell - Felicity
Amy Jo Johnson - the Pink Power Ranger

Elijah Wood- Frodo in LOTR

Johnny Depp- Jack Sparrow in Pirates

Tobey Maguire- Spider-Man

Hugh Jackman- Wolverine in X-Men
