Iron Man Adam Baldwin?

I like Adam Baldwin in Serenity/Firefly/Independance Day, but he's just too fratboyish-toolish to play Tony Stark.

what about any of his roles makes you see him as "fratboyish"? Usually I see him as rather gruff, which is the exact opposite.
