Age of Ultron After Avengers 3 - enter New Avengers??

have just thought about something Im not sure enough people have noticed.
Robert D. Jr, Chris Evans and Chris H. have had a multi picture deal and have their own trilogies along with Avengers movies, so yeah, its pretty possible they will be out after A3... but Mark Ruffalo hasnt had his own trilogy, so his contract more than likely still has a few more movies yet to cover, so Hulk could be one of the original Avengers to stay after A3, same with Renner.

So taking this into account, A4 roster could be something like this:

Hulk
Hawkeye
Scarlett Witch
Quicksilver
Antman
Wasp
Black Panther
Ms Marvel

dont know about you, but this would be pretty awesome to me

Maybe the talk of replacing actors is a preemptive Marvel move. Soften the future perhaps??? Would a team of Ms Marvel, Scarlet Witch, Hercules , Panther, Vision ,and Winter Soldier sell. You have the soldier, 3 heavy hitters, the Assassin Spy, and the genius

If they were going to make the new avengers I would almost put money on them being jess jones, iron fist, Luke cage, daredevil and any other characters that appear in those series like ronin. Marvel loves their cross promotions (which of course makes sense)

Personally I can't deal with casting changes too well. Hell I can't even watch The Incredible Hulk anymore (though the Rhodey change I eventually got over).

New characters > casting changes.

After Avengers 3 I think the structure will change around with the familiar faces we have up until that point and then some completely new.

Think Cap will die in A3 (but it will be left open for him to return, someone steals his body mid credits or something).
Thor will probably go off to rule Asgard.
Tony will hang up his gloves.
And Hulk will be blasted off into space (unless the rumours about A2 are true).

These characters will have been around for years and I think the actors will want a break. There will be a possibility of them coming back in the future but I think new ones will take over.
Hulk will hopefully get his stand alone Planet Hulk and World War Hulk films. They can do what they want with him as all they have to do is make him fully CGI for the whole film.

5 years down the line if the new lot are doing terrible, then you can bring back the big boys (WWHulk?).

Already scheduled for Netflix. It's being called the Defenders.

Roster changes are a common thing in comics, and rotation rosters are part of the fun with team books. If any of the original actors want to move on, then my guess is that they'll simply move away from those characters for awhile. They won't be gone for good, and they'll still be around, but Marvel will focus on newer characters for some time, and then the old ones will be brought back eventually with new actors playing them.

By Avengers 4, Spiderman should be coming back in house, so I would feature him. Or Avengers 5 at least if it still needs a few more years to revert. Also focus on some Heroes for Hire heroes to come in from the TV series, assuming those characters can have success in those mediums first.

Yeah but they're more ground level/street type superheroics. I reckon cap will officially bring them in as new avengers if the powers that be decide to go ahead with the new avengers idea

Sony are doing a crummy job of Spidey, but we're a LOOOOONG way off the rights reverting

But Silvermoth the character you name are the netflix defenders

While I don't think it's a good idea to abandon the old characters at all, in my opinion, it is better than recasting. I could see them turning the Netflix heroes + Doctor Stange and a few others into the New Avengers post-Avengers 3.

Yeah but then they will become avengers

But they will probably have Dr.Strange, BP, Ms Marvel, Ant-Man Wasp maybe the Twins. Hulk might still be in there considering Ruffalo has a longer contract. Bucky as either WS or Cap, Falcon, War Machine also possibilities.

I think that is enough without needing the Defenders in there.

New rumor has it..some of the Avengers wont be around in the 3rd movie....not sure how it will happen being Thanos is probably going to be the next villain up.....

You can sub in all 2nd stringers for your big guns and it might work and it might not. It might remain the same product to comic fans but it won't necessarily be so to the GA and the risk by that time will be a couple of billion dollars and the momentum of the franchise and the MCU.

Tying these roles so exclusively to the actors is not a winning formula for making MARVEL STUDIOS a long term success. They just have to be as careful as they were in RE-casting the part as they were in finding the big screen ensemble that they did (sans Ed Norton, natch). I know we are all giddy that GOTG showed that the Marvel brand could make a hit out of obscure to the public characters. But let's be honest here, just like in the comics, things return to a status quo for a reason. Marvel WANTS to keep making THOR, CAP and IM films for sure along with the likes of DR. STRANGE, ANT-MAN and others we've thought about, and they want to make not one off films but franchises, franchises that ultimately will be bigger than the particular actor playing the part at any given time. I see new faces in the suits of Iron Man, Thor and Cap (along with Widow, Hawkeye, Banner, ect) coming to us after the first round of contracts are up, though I won't be surprised if there are hold overs that share the screen with some newbies to their roles (so think Evan's replacement, RDJ's replacement maybe paling around with Renner and Scarjo and Bettany in a later Avengers film... or not).

I just can't see Marvel Studios putting Captain America or Thor as characters proper, out to pasture for an extended period because they are afraid of the reactions to new actors in the roles. Does that mean some can't "die" and be brought back later, or that we will see things like Barnes in the stars and stripes or a Red Hulk or a team of Avengers similar to runs where the truly big names and big guns are AWOL? Sure, that could happen. But I don't think it will be because they are semi-retiring those characters to ovoid a backlash or the like.

My guess? They're introducing a new team of Avengers specifically with Cap 3 in mind. Think about it. The rumors we're hearing seem to consistently focus around a recurring group of characters, namely
Falcon, Captain Marvel, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, and possibly the Vision, Hawkeye, and Black Widow depending on which report you're reading/

What do most of those guys have in common? With the exception of Renner and Scarjo, they all possess much lower pay grades. If you want to include the Avengers in Civil War that'd mean shilling out cash to bring back Scarjo, Ruffalo, Hemsworth, and so on, but a lot of the newbies (and possibly whoever they cast as Carol Danvers) likely won't be as expensive.

So I'm predicting at the end of this movie we will see Black Widow, Hulk, and Thor leave the team for whatever reason, leaving a new group of Avengers anchored by less expensive actors like Anthony Mackie, Elizabeth Olsen, and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

Then when Infinity War comes around (which will likely be the most expensive Marvel movie to date), they can bring back Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, and Widow.

Now I'm a massive fan of the MCU and I'm a massive comic nerd.
However I feel the MCU should have a 'break' for maybe 3 years after Infinity War Part 2.
Just look at how many movies are coming out from now until then.
I would rather they slowed down for a while after Infinity War and then came back with Phase 4,5 and 6 focusing on new characters/ lesser used characters from Phase 1,2 and 3 and started a whole new Generation of Avengers. Much like the comics.
This will reduce over saturation and fatigue for the MCU
