Dr. curt connors is in his office sweating and nervous. Dr. curt connors picks up the potion and closes his eyes, after drinking it.....he opens his eyes, the camera zooms into Dr. connors eye and they are yellow, then the credits come on.

Spider-Man 3 won't end with a cliffhanger...S-M 3 ends all the plots and storylines from the last two movies, so there's no way it will end with a cliffhanger...the only one would probably be is with the symbiote, it will probably flee away down into the sewers and flow in the water where it'll be lost...but the only hints of Dr. Connors' alter-ego will be in his room where he is working on his DNA project...but that won't turn into a Dr. Connors-transforming-cliffhanger...if Lizard is in the fourth movie, then he'll be in it, and then number four will be the start to maybe another trilogy of Spidey movies.

A green substance fills the needle as he gently places retracts the needle and places the creature back in its cage. A test tube rack holds different samples of a black substance, the substance that Peter so kindly brought to the doctor to test for him and figure out what it was. Dr. Connors pushes the needle into the tube labeled "Symbiote/Komodo Sample 1." He looks down at where his arm should be and smiles. The vial goes into the centrifuge and begins to spin. It quickly stops as he grabs a sample of dead tissue from a recently shed snake skin and places it under a microscope. He injects a drop of the newly created sample onto the scales. The serum covers the brown scales as the cells begin to multiply, regenerating the dead cells. Dr. Connors smiles, his eyes bored into the microscope. The whole screen is now a bunch of scales, the dark green goo rushes across the screen as it goes black.

Very good attempt but it doesn't work.

I use the term "Child" to place an adjective to your attitude. Your level of maturity. Your response further proves my previous statement.

And using a Flashback in a movie is common place....but for the end of a movie....that should not be used to bring the surprise of his return in the future....it wouldn't bode well. At all. Period.

Hmm... SM3 might resolve all the storylines of 1 & 2... we just don't know. Admittedly it looks like it could and should. However, there are new storylines being introduced into SM3 such as Gwen Stacy and her father, as well as the symbiote... which you mentioned. There is also Dr. Connors. If there are plans to introduce the Lizard in SM4 or later, now would be as good a time as any to begin laying the groundwork for that. With all these possibilities, it's a bit presumptive to believe there's no chance of a cliffhanger.

I'm not saying there will be, but there certainly could be.
