Age of Ultron Age of Ultron Easter Egg thread (possible spoilers)

- The amounts deposited into Klaw's bank account match the returns of the previous MCU movies

- The red cloak Ultron wears briefly is a reference to Crimson Cowl

- There was a truck marked “Crawford” during the Hulk/Iron Man fight scene. Possible reference to Dr. Gregory Crawford?

Really? That's awesome. Baller move, Whedon. Baller move!

The Shield shield helicarrier from the first film returns 64 edition as well as the theme from it's introduction rising out of the water by that was composed by Alan Silvestri

also you could here theme of Cap (from The first Avenger) during his battle with Ultron, you could hear apart of Iron Man 3 theme when The Hulkbuster armour is being assembled before the battle and you could hear Thor's revised them from the Dark world when he flies down to save the woman trapped int the car before tossing her up to Cap.

Wait, I think I missed the part where Hawkeye named his newborn son Pietro.

When did this happen?

at the end of the movie BW gets a video on her phone of the the baby and it it says NATHANIEL PIETRO BARTON on his shirt

Stark makes a Eugene O'Neill joke that got absolutely no reaction both times I saw it. I'm sure because like me the audiences had no idea who he is.

I laughed, but everyone else in the theater was silent. Awkward....

The score reprises "No Strings On Me" as Hawkeye lays down on the civilian rescue craft.

I totally laughed, and it was one of those fangirlly "the things I love are coming together" sort of laughs. Got all sorts of strange looks.

^ Awesome. That "the things I love are coming together" feeling is 100% how I felt way back in the early days of the MCU when Branagh was announced as director of Thor. I felt like that decision had been made just for me.

Joss Whedon Reveals ‘Buffy’ Easter Egg in ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’
During Thor’s visions of Asgard when all kinds of trippy stuff is going down, at one point you catch a glimpse of three masked men in the archways. The man on the left is wearing a wolf mask, in the middle a ram, on the right is a hart (a medieval word for a stag). Wolf, ram, hart. And if you’ve ever seen Whedon’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer spinoff, Angel, you know where we’re going with this.

Here’s a screenshot of the scene in question:

Whedon confirmed on the Age of Ultron director's commentary that this was a sly nod to Angel, and the villainous Wolf, Ram & Hart.
