I dunno. Aren't people who have issues with this movie close-minded/whiners to you? Or am I reaching?
reaching?

It's hollywood, they always have to have that human anchor good or bad. I wouldn't be suprised if we saw a seen where humans are on a bridge or something throwing rocks at decepticons.

In Spidey it was a commentary on post 9/11 New York City. Was anybody here during the blackout two years ago?... boy has this place freakin changed! If that blackout happend 6 years ago, this city would be a warzone.

If Bay does it in this movie, it'll just be jingoistic crap.

hell........no

Why not? I'm just saying use that for inspiration and come up with an intelligent emotional story to bring the robots themselves to life.

I'm not saying use it as an exact translation; but use it as a way to put across that the robots themselves are characters and have interesting stories to tell.

There's nothing wrong with one or two humans in the story, but seriously to call Transformers a human story? Tell it from a human perspective? Please. I felt more emotion in Transformers: The Movie than I believe I'll feel in this one.

I'll give it a chance, but the designs, Bay, Murphy, and the cast itself has really made me less interested in this film.

Considering Camaros are traditionally a big joke in New York City (hey! badda bing badda boom!), you're probably right in regards to Bumblebee.
Heck, the truck with flames would probably get graffittied in a hot second if it parked for too long too.

I think Bay, as a commentary on current events... should put in a scene in New York City where the crowds yells.... "Take your war somewhere else a*holes!" Or (to quote: Snake Plissken in Escape From New York) "We don't give a f* about your war... or your President!"
All while pointing at the hillbilly truck with the flames.
