Interesting

I agree, its interesting cause the Teaser we have is differant from the trailer they are describing. I wonder if this is the trailer or info they are showing at Comic-Con. Hmmm.

A scorpion-like robot, who is a minion:

I used to own this Action Master Devastator toy, who came with Scorpulator. If Scorponok was a placeholder name for Scorpulator, on some strange "kosher" TransFormers mythology level this could work [besides having the master robot be Vortex instead of Devastator of course.]

Did anyone see Entourage last night? The reaction they had to finding out Bay was signed on to direct Aquaman 2 was priceless.

I'm curious as to how would Scorponok look like in the movie, Maybe he'll look like the one from the G1 cartoons.
Doubtful. Apart from the massive size difference the scorpion is his robot mode (apparently).

It really was.

After watching 'The Island' I have faith that Bay will give us a good Transformers movie. Just going by the highway car scene towards the end, we know the destruction and vehicle combat will be perfect. Anyone who complains about a potential lacking plot obviously reads way to much into the original Transformers series. This flick will be fun, and thats all it ever needs to be.

I find that lots of movies can be fun.... when watched in the comfort of your home on DVD on your nice big screen. I thought Fantastic Four was a lot of fun... in fact I "liked" it.... but I would have thrown up in my mouth if I went to go see it in the theater.

It wouldn't be Transformers if it didnt had any 1 on 1 Robot hand to hand combat, Like Optimus Prime vs Megatron.

Well this explains why Scorponok is attacking that one village. Good to know.
Cool stuff.

I would guess this scene will be something right out of the movie War Of The Worlds, The soldiers standing near the desert then suddenly something unusual slowly starts rising up from the sand to slowly reveal Scorponok, And soon Chaos ensues.

Drax is one of those people the studios use to hype thier bad movies on net forums

eh, I'm still waiting to hear about the scenes that have bumblebee getting blowed to bits and captured.
