Most of it was very reassuring.

Prime's going to have lips in the movie and his faceplate will be his "Battlemask".

That was just an early design idea, it might change. They did something like that with Optimus Primal in Beast Wars and a lot of the Transformers in the Dreamwave comic (Brawn and Bumblebee). It could work.

Scorponok was a surprise twist. I remember Murphy being so stubborn about his hatred of animal-Transformers. Guess he had a change of heart.

I'm just worried that he'll audition the original VA's to please the fans, but still turn to "flavor of the month" actors to fill the parts. Cullen sounds just as good these days as he did in 1984. I haven't heard Welker's "Megatron voice" since "The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest", but I know he still sounded pretty good. Not sure about Casey Kasem though. Those are the main three I recall from the cartoons.

Agree with the lips part, I don't mind the pupils though. What I'd like to see is the mechanical iris' in close up shots, but glowing blue in long shots. That way they make everyone happy. I'm more concerned with the lack of red on optimus. Its not like a red truck is unrealistic or anything.
