AICN is ripping the Teaser apart. One has to ask what are their motives?

You know it's sad that we give them poeple over at that site power by feeding into their negativity. It just makes me angry to see an agenda at work. Yeah I respect others opinion, but it's extremly obvious that their's more going on here then simple nonfavorable reaction and opinions. Most of the posts are negative and range from such asinine comments like "the SS is to silver, he's silver and not chrome, the cgi is bad and so forth. I can accept honesty, but when most of the posts are negative it raises an eyebrow. Now Harry hasn't commented on both the Surfer and the teaser so i won't rip directly into him, but all that negativity is very suspect.

Normally i'd agree with you but in the case of AICN it's the moss isley of message boards

We have to expect a lot of caution given the first movie being so sub par for many though

Eh, that site is one of the last sites on the net I ever check user reviews or comments. It's so much easier for them to just blurt out a weak little negative comment then to try and come up with a detailed description of what they like or don't like. Then once alpha-moron #1 stakes his claim as #1 hater, the others have to try and join him or dethrone him for superiority. Ugh, I hate that place.

Also, AICN is about as loaded with opinionated people as this site is, you just happen to have more superhero movie sceptics there than here, which should be obvious. Any crack towards AICN is like the pot calling the kettle black.

Not necessarily, over there they are more "unleashed", and they have taken full advantage of it and are pretty vicious with their rants sometimes.

The difference with the Hype and AICN is that they have the same amount of childish nitpicking and attemps at humor, but here you can find also serious, equilibrated responses (both negative and positive). You hardly find any useful insights in those talkbacks

I'm yet to read anything that isn't crass,arrogant or plain dumb from that site on any movie,the hype has many threads with intelligent discussion and well statted opnions

Actually I just read some of the talkback overthere and most of the posters are praising the trailers and blasting the so called fan boys for being such idiots and nitpicking as to why the Sliver surfer looks so "silver" and not white.

Kissing Rocky's Butt *IS* an All-American pastime. Rocky embodies the guts and determination that made America the greatest, most powerful country the world has ever known. I have no problem with the geeks on AICN planting their lips firmly on Sly's arse. Heaven knows most of them will never kiss a girl with those lips, so there is very little chance any VD will be spread.

As for the rest of the things they do on AICN.... I have no comment except to say I *hope* it's not the American Way.

Not worth worrying about. Their reactions are so predictable, there's no reason to log on. Once you've read a little of that site, you know what they'll say, so there's no point in reading it.
