Looks like it’s going to be a fantastic return to horror for the franchise!!! Can’t wait for this, after being so disappointed in every installment post-Aliens this is amongst my most anticipated movies this year.

Doesn’t look like it will add anything to the mythology like the last few did. Maybe that’s a good thing. Maybe people just want a good scare. As long as characters don’t do anything too stupid like say take off their helmets on an alien planet, I’m good

Another thing in the plus column is that I love how it seemingly looks/feels claustrophobic.

That was something the first movie did very well.

Wow this looks awesome and they actually made the Xenomorphs and the Face Huggers feel scary again which is honestly something I haven't gotten from this franchise since Aliens.

This looks appropriately dark and gritty and I'm already loving the practical effects. Fingers crossed this turns out to be good and we finally get another worthy Alien sequel.

I'm really hyped for this and the trailer got me even more excited.

My only minor complaint would be showing who gets a facehugger on them considering that's pretty much a confirmed death sentence. (Unless this movie introduces a way to get rid of the embryo without killing the host)

Ok it looks good....but i have to admit i also feel kind of like "what is this doing differently that we havent seen before?" Is this just a modern remix of what Scott/Cameron did? I mean, maybe ithats all it needs to be? Maybe it just needs to be a well shot, action thriller/slasher?

I'm curious to see what the budget for this is because it looks insanely impressive. I'd be surprised if it was over $100M but hopefully Fede Alvarez was able to work with a more modest budget.

I want this to be successful, especially since its getting a theatrical release.
