But Tommy Westphall is a TV character in his own right. So then does that mean that his character is the creation of another child's mind? If so, then who is it? Why am I even asking these questions? My head hurts.

Yeah, I knew about the Westphall universe. I disagree though when it uses corporate brand names as connecting elements, that's stretching it a bit. Like, we have Coca Cola in our universe, so anything with Coca Cola in it is part of the universe too?
