I'm sure that this will be different for everyone. Here are 5 scenes that I am so sick of because they were either in every commercial, or parody. I could have done the whole list on titanic, or the matrix, but where is the fun in that.
1.) I'm the king of the world. Enough said

2.) That damn kick from the Matrix. it was in all three movies for crying out loud!

3.) Nothing is more romantic than clay:whatever:

4.) KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAN

5.) and last but not least. Sorry guys, but it was overplayed on a massive level. "I AM YOUR FATHER"

you have no idea how flamed you will be for the vader one, which is probably in the top 5 best moments in movie history.

Im not even a stars wars fan an I disagree with you. Empire strikes back is the best star wars movie ever made an that scene is awsome. The rest of em not so much.

i did not say you have to dislike the movie, I just said overplayed. which it was.

up for debate

you see here is my problem.
I try to make a fun thread and people show up with a big freaking stick up their butt and try to ruin it. Fine if you disagree with me deal with it, but at least post a few scenes that we can laugh about.

FINE

"Your so beautiful.."
"its only because im so in love"
"no ha..haha its because im so in love with you"
"so love has blinded you"

another glorious conversation written by prequal era george lucas.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
All of Jim Carrey's scenes in Batman Forever

^ yeah that was gag worthy!
thanks :woot:

Ah, I see that everyone is missing the point of the thread.

severely disagree with the Darth Vader revelation. it was neither hammy, nor overplayed...it was perfect imo.

every thread becomes an argument sooner or later, this one just evolved faster that i expected. though by putting star wars in here I should have expected it.
Its like going into an evangelical board and saying that "Passion of the Christ" was a well financed snuff flick.

Yes indeed!
how many stained glass roofs did batman break in his career?
Also what was with the skates in their boots????:whatever:
It was Batman's Winter Wonderland batsuit.

Viggo Mortensen in Carlito's Way, it amazes me every time. I can't believe the scene made it into the movie.

okay here is one. Hear me out before you drive me out of town. My wife has never seen this movie, but she knows this scene and thinks its way overplayed.

"SAY HELLO TO MY LEETTLE FRIEND"

Yeah his accent is outrageous but that's half the fun. But the best part of that scene is when the Terminator-esque hitman comes in and shoots him in the back. THAT GUY IS WEARING SUNGLASSES. AT NIGHT.

"Smoooooooooooooookin'!!!!"

And what's worse is the episode of Sister Sister where one of the Mowry sisters go around imitating this throughout the entire episode. :wow:

The Vader scene from ESB??? Goodbye credibility.

Anyway, the President's speech from that POS ID4.

The part in Facing the Giants when the coach yells "don't quit, don't stop" really loud and obnoxiously.

Any scene in a Michael Bay movie when the actors are trying to look cool as they walk in front of something in slow motion as the camera tilts up at the actors.

Scarface itself is one big campy movie. The whole movie is hammy IMO.

Oh, I’m sure Batman encounters ice rinks all the time. Let's not forget the part where he shows his bat credit card. That was just about the world film ever.

Probably because in pre-Nolan continuity, Wayne Enterprises holds the contracts for all window repair services in Gotham City. :oldrazz:

God, this really is Super emo hype. Or Super lack of reading comprehension Hype...

Blud_Knight isn't criticizing these scenes in terms of their quality, but their over-use in parodies and referrences in pop culture. They're becoming over-done, tired, cliche, played out, done to death, or if you want to play with the big words, trite.

And it's true.

I'll add

THIS IS SPARTA!
