[Alpha and Omega]

The ones I'm doing are in no particular order and I would say that they were memorable for me as opposed to my favorites:

Ep III: The lightsaber fight between Anakin and Obi-Wan; watching it the first time gave me chills. <chills that were sullied by a NoOoOoO that irreparably damaged the effect somewhat, but I still liked it>

Godfather: The scene at the end where Kay asks Michael if he's Don Corleone. He lies and she walks out of the room. The camera angle that shows her staring through an open doorway (as different members of the syndicate come in to pay their respects to the newly appointed Don) is priceless for its day. <that ending is one of my favorite because it's visually clear, but free of unnecessary words. the actresses facial expression said it all. Her husband lied to her and she knew it.>

LoTR: The Two Towers - One of the final scenes w/ McKellen and Karl Urban where they come back and help the diminished armies of <can't remember the town>.

Guys and Dolls: The cafe scene w/ Sinatra; also the first time that Brando walks into the AH.

Hero: The scene where Jet Li's character is fighting the gentleman w/ the spear in the rain.

Clockwork Orange: the scenes w/ the mind rehabilitation

Original Spidey: GG says: "We live (and/or die) by the choices we make. . . so choose!"
You can see MJ in one eye and the innocent victims in the other symbolizing the conflict between the responsibility to his loved ones vs. his responsibility to the public. <insert Uncle Ben's w/ great power. . . blah, blah, blah.>

The Matrix: Last fight w/ Neo vs. Agent Smith

The Breakfast Club: The part where Judd Nelson's character goes around the room and impersonates all of the people there. That stereotypical bs wouldn't fly in a film today, but it was pretty funny for the 80's.

The Sting: The Poker game in the train car where Paul Newman cheats a little better than his opponent. <this whole movie is amazing>

French Connection: The chase scene in this film is pretty groundbreaking for its day.

The Gladiator: The fight between the 'would be' Ceasar and Maximus.

Glory: The scene where Washington is getting whipped (I think for talking back to a Caucasian commanding officer?) and he turns to the camera for the close up of the solitary tear. Not bad for a one-take scene.

It's a Wonderful Life: The scene where George Bailey (Jimmy Stewart's character) is helped to appreciate how much of an impact he's had on the lives of the people around him w/out realizing it.

Flashdance: Jennifer Beale's striptease routine.

The Magnificient Seven: The showdown w/ Yul Brynner

Goodfellas: Diner conversation where Dineiro's(sp?) character asks Liotta's to kill someone.

Wedding Crashers: The stairwell scene where OW tells VV about how his love interest's mom just exposed herself, and VV is shaking that off w/ his funny account of how he was being molested at the dinner table.

The Color Purple: The scene where Glover's character realizes that he's lost all authority over his wife due to his habit of vicious domestic abuse.

Jurassic Park: I like when they're running alongside the dinosaurs in the open fields. If you look at the fx, they're impressive for their day, and still pretty good by today's standard.

Silence of the Lambs: Hannibal's(Hopkins) first conversation w/ Det. Starling.

Silverado: The scene where Costner, Glover, Kline, and Glenn ride towards the town at full speed on their thoroughbreds.

In the Line of Fire: All of the interactons between Malkovich and Eastwood culminating w/ the struggle in the elevator.

On the Waterfront: scene w/ Brando reflecting on his options after he's been physically beaten.

The Hustler: The first time Newman and Gleason's respective character's face each other in billards while they get a feel for how the other player approaches the game.

From Russia w/ Love: It always amused me; the movie had a gypsy fight, a helicopter assassination, and a train fight.

not to mention many inaccuracies which I've actually looked for as I watched w/ a sheet of paper in hand.
It's pathetic, I know. Oh well.

Passenger 57: Just kidding. I do think that film has probably seen more TV appearances than any other in history though.

You have a lot of great sequences in there, but I think the movies themselves have better ones. For instance, the end of White Heat is better than the scene you listed, and the first scene in Goodfellas with the death of Billy Batts is better than the beating.
