Just to interject...you're saying Batman and Robin "standing still" would be MORE dramatic than them running?

Was the ending in B89 more dramatic than BF's? Yes, definetely. If you had those two standing out over the roof tops of Gotham, giving the picture a bigger scope ... and say have them jump off the roof once the signal goes off ... then yes, that is a more dramatic ending then two shadows running @ a screen. I don't have any corny pictures with sub-text saying "right" ... so you'll have to do with out, kid.

The only picture is of them standing still with a blue background, if the picture below is of the actual shot in question. No doubt they'd fill in the blue with a real background, but the thing about Batman '89 was that there was a lot of movement in the frame. The bat-signal, for instance.

Whose to say their wouldn't be for BF? It also describes them jumping off the roof-top. That would look much cooler than bouncy eared Batman and sidekick running at a dark screen.
