So, apparently I have the early warning signs of carpal tunnel...and my good old mouse just won't work anymore with this issue. I do a lot of gaming, mainly MMO and RPG type stuff...very little FPS.

I was wondering if anyone had any good alternatives to using a mouse for gaming?

Anything you can do with your mouse, you can do with your keyboard. You just have to learn it.

But there are Trackballs that some people like to use what might work better for you than a mouse. The benefit is you can elevate them on something until your wrist is at the position where the nerves aren't being irritated. I'd try those before trying to learn the keystrokes of your favorite game, though.

A friend swears by trackball. The one he uses has the ball placed under the thumb. It's pretty comfortable. Personally, I use my Wacom tablet for everything. Haven't used a mouse unless I had no other choice for ten years. Now, they seem so clunky and archaic.
