My Thoughts:
Just picked this issue up today.
Not bad. To be honest it's better than the last half of JMS' run.
but....
I really think they dropped the ball again....quite a couple of times during this arc. Mainly because at some point I felt they were being held back by the ramifications of OMD once again.
Now it's clear that Lily is
She needs some character, ASAP if they are going to make her work. Carlie needs to be fleshed out more as well but I definitely expect this in the future.
She can still work. She doesn't feel as cookie cutter as some of the character's do. at least while I was reading.....and even though I haven't payed for every issue, I have been keeping up. (Don't worry Dan, just Gale's issues, and sometimes Guggenheim.)
With Lily, I suspect this:
There is going to be some big reveal in the future, either she will be behind it, she will have helped, or she will have just known about it. Or a little of all 3, meaning the story can be stretched out even further and she can stay in the supporting cast.
Now that thats, out the way. I love the scene with Norman and Spidey.
They finally gave a nod towards something thats been on fans minds! yay!!!
Everything got a nice little wrap up, while pushing certain story elements forward. Most people forget "real life doesn't move that fast" and its something I have come to realize I really missed about Spidey.
Having said that they really need to sort out this OMD mess and move FORWARD.
