'Amazing Spider-Man' No. 1 among $85K in rare merchandise missing from Tampa Bay Com

Trampa bay baby. Hide ya kids, hide ya comics, they taking everything around here. :o

good thing he had them insured. i hope they show up

I give it ten minutes til Ebay.

He could have done it himself, or maybe Stan Lee or Ant-Man broke in and got them.:hehe:

I can see Stan Lee being the Marvel Grinch. "I created them! They're all mine!" Then he fires off some webbing and swings off into the mist.

I hope he gets them back. Having anything of personal or monetary value stolen is sickening.

I also hope this isnt some insurance scam he is trying to pull off. People get desperate or greedy and light their cars or house on fire and try to claim the insurance money. It rarely works.

i was at dublin con over the weekend and my group were discussing how amazing it was with the crowds how easy it could be to simple just lift an walk from the stalls

one stall had a 3.0 graded copy of amazing fantays 15 for £20,000 but it was behind tables and up on a shelf so it wasnt going anywhere

though the same stall had a copy of a 8.0 killing joke for £2000 so they mustnt have been that smart

My Dad owned the first issues of Fantastic Four and Superman. He regrets not holding onto them.

My old man said he had a **** ton of number one Marvel prints from the 60s but says my grandma tossed them when he moved out. They never knew....

i think we're all in the same boat, my dad owned a bunch of early marvel. plus the original corgi and die cast metal thunderbirds toys. came home one day and they were all gone, binned

See, that's why I'm keeping any number ones I have right now. I got that Death of Hawkeye #1 from 83 in a sealed bag just in case.

Maybe the things where stolen by a conman of conventions, you know, a Con's con.

My collection is going to make me a bazillionaire!
