Wait...so this has "cloud swinging", as opposed to the actual "webs stick to buildings" type? Kind of seems like a step back. Is it because the camera's closer, giving us less awareness of our immediate surroundings? That's the only way I could see that sort of system being justified.
Not to be the wet blanket, but in Arkham City the camera remained quite close to Batman whenever he was walking. It's a cool perspective, that makes the player feel like they're actually controlling Batman as opposed to an action figure. At the same time, Rocksteady understood that during combat and flight, preserving the experience of Batman meant pulling the camera back to give the player a greater ability to react to their surroundings. A similar approach might have worked for Beenox.
Oh well, I guess I'll judge for myself once I pick this up on Tuesday.
