When I say “too long” while describing TASM’s loading screens I’m talking about upwards of 30 second waits at times. To me that is an unacceptable time for any loading screen. This is even more troubling when you factor in that I installed the game to my hard drive. I just can’t stand long loading times in my games, and TASM has its fair share of them. This frustration is compounded when you have to read fake status updates that absolutely add no value to the game’s experience.

I said awhile ago that I'll pre-order from Amazon, but I'm just gonna pick it up from Wal Mart tomorrow with the free movie tickets inside. Can't wait to play it.

I'm thinking I might just rent this. It's beginning to sound like something I'll be able to finish off in around a week. Though I might just leave the game (buying or renting) until I've seen the movie. I don't want to end up buying it and have it collecting dust for a week or more.

Loading screens so far that I have experienced haven't been more than 30 seconds at most like 20 and sometimes they are like 5 seconds or less.

It's seems to me that people are looking for anything to complain about with this game, first it was the web slinging, now it's the side missions and length of the load screens. I mean damm do people ever stop complaining? I am always skeptical on movie based games and it's been years since I bought one, but this one actually seems like its decent/ good.

Side missions not respawing after reaching 100% doesn't bother me too much. Doing the same side missions over and over and over and over again in Spider Man 2 got boring. As long as I can swing around the city and maybe beat up random thugs I am good. However, I will be keeping an eye out for reviews before I commit to buying it full price.

Well I assume it'll be on the other versions as well. I don't know why they'd make that skin exclusive to the Wii version.

Well the guy said he unlocked it through beating all of the side-missions (yeah there are side-missions on the Wii version, it sounded weird to me too) so maybe we'll get it sooner than we think, assuming it's the same on all versions.
